Predicting Where EVERY Released WWE Star Will Sign Next
4. Zoey Stark
The most melancholic release from this round of cuts was Zoey Stark, who had apparently been recently cleared to return to the ring specifically so that WWE wouldn't face backlash for letting her go while she was recovering.
It still sucked, regardless, but it was actually mismanagement that plagued Zoey's WWE career, not injuries. An unexplained heel turn on NXT, a sudden promotion to the main roster before she was ready, and an alliance and subsequent turn on Trish Stratus that led nowhere all contributed to her downfall significantly more than any mangled knee could have ever done.
Zoey is unlikely to turn heads wherever she lands next, but her uptick is that she reportedly worked as a producer during her first injury layoff in 2022. Having that kind of experience, especially at just 32 years old, is going to make her a stronger swimmer in the free agency pool once those 90 days expire.
Destination: ROH.
