For whatever reason, Smackdown got their act together and put out five good-to-great brand-exclusive pay-per-views in 2006, with No Way Out being the best of the lot. In addition to a tremendous main event, the underneath portions let it all hang out, with a Rey Mysterio/Randy Orton gutwrencher, a Chris Benoit/Booker T classic for the United States title, and a "just go nuts" nine-man Cruiserweight title match to kick things off. RECOMMENDED MATCH: Kurt Angle vs. The Undertaker, World Heavyweight title. WWE's best match of 2006 combines the strike-and-brawl WWE main event style that has been prevalent, and some nifty submission struggles in the homestretch, a nod to each man's affinity for mixed martial arts. It may have been Undertaker's first truly-great match since becoming the "Dead Man" once more in 2004, but it certainly wasn't his last.
