24. Undertaker vs AJ Styles (WrestleMania 36, Night 1)

Ok, admit it. When WWE announced that they were planning a few 'Cinematic Matches' for WrestleMania 36 to try and offset the restrictions enforced by the pandemic, we all thought they were going to be rubbish. Instead, AJ Styles and The Undertaker provided a match that will go down in WrestleMania history for all the right reasons, and the world was given one of the most used memes of all time in the process.

The Undertaker had been on a run of bad WrestleMania performances since his legendary streak ended at the hands of Brock Lesnar at WrestleMania 30. This filmed and staged Boneyard Match enabled WWE to hide his negatives and accentuate his positives, making Taker look stronger and more mobile than he had in years.

AJ Styles chased Taker all over a cemetary at an undisclosed location. The men engaged in some excellent spots with spooky druids, Gallows and Anderson getting involved, and Styles attempting to bury 'The Deadman' alive with a forklift truck. It was an unexpected and joyous triumph. The Undertaker would defeat AJ Styles to ride off into the sunset for his final WrestleMania match (until that Saudi Arabian cheque comes calling next year, of course).
