Report: Triple H's Cardiac Event Was "Very, Very, Very Serious"
The latest on Triple H, who hasn't yet returned to work for WWE.
The cardiac event suffered by Triple H in September has been described as "very, very, very serious."
Dave Meltzer noted that a source had said as much, doing so during a recent appearance on the Sunday Night's Main Event podcast. The 52-year-old, who was hospitalised in September, isn't believed to have returned to his role as WWE's Executive Vice President of Global Talent Strategy Development and COO yet.
While Triple H is expected to get back to work in some capacity, whether or not he'll occupy as strenuous a role as before is unclear.
Triple H's wife, Stephanie McMahon, recently offered the following comment to talkSPORT's Alex McCarthy:-
“Paul ‘Triple H’ is doing great, thank you very much for asking."
A clip of Hunter touring WWE's prospective new headquarters surfaced earlier this month. It was the first time he had been seen in public since suffering the cardiac event.
Triple H's old D-Generation X stablemate, Shawn Michaels, has stepped into many of the COO's day-to-day duties as NXT's Executive Producer in his absence, though the developmental brand has undergone wholesale changes since September and is now barely recognisable from the original black and gold vision.
