Spectre: 10 Reasons You Should Be Excited For Batista In Bond 24

By Marcus K. Dowling /

1. Batista Is Likely Done With WWE

The Rock's film success hit a lull between 2011-2013 that put the Brahma Bull in the situation where he had the spare time to main event WrestleMania for two years in a row. Now on track as an actor, that's likely to never happen again. Every now and then he night return to lay the smackdown on some jabroni's "roody poo candy ass," but as far as a full match, that probably won't happen. Batista's arguably in a better place as an actor in 2015 than The Rock was in 2011. Intriguingly, insofar as the WWE Universe, he may be in a place too where his lack of a comeback is actually a reason for hard-to-please WWE fans to be excited because the less-than-agile Batista may be gone from wrestling for good. He has three major roles forthcoming in three big budget films (Kickboxer, Bus 657 and Spectre), so the possibility of his career to skyrocket at a pace faster than The Rock's initially did is entirely possible. Thus, while even suggested in this article, Batista's future WWE involvement is intrinsically linked to not the success (which is certain) but rather the level of success of these films. Was "Bluetista" at Payback Big Dave's WWE wrestling swan song? If so, what a way to go out! "Bootista" may be no more!
