While last night's WWE Raw closed out with Roman Reigns retaining the World Heavyweight Championship against Penta in an excellent main event, that wasn't the end of the action for those in attendance at Mexico City's Arena CDMX.

Clocking in at roughly 22 minutes, an electric back-and-forth bout came to an end when the OTC countered a Penta springboard attack with a Superman Punch, before landing one final Spear to get the 1-2-3 and completely take the air out of a white-hot crowd. From there, Raw went off the air with Penta standing at the top of the entrance aisle, and Roman jaw-jacking in the ring to the crowd and camera. And with that, the broadcast ended.

However, those fans at CDMX last night got to see LA Knight head to the ring to confront Roman Reigns after Raw went off the air, including the Megastar dropping Reigns with his patented BFT.

Since WWE posted that footage, Roman Reigns has posted a clip of himself making his way backstage, where he confirmed that LA Knight will get a shot at the World Heavyweight Championship at Money in the Bank, which takes place at New Orleans' Smoothie King Center on Saturday, October 10th.

For LA Knight, Money in the Bank will be his first outright title shot since Clash in Paris in August of last year, where he, CM Punk, and Jey Uso unsuccessfully challenged for Seth Rollins' World Heavyweight Championship in a fatal four-way bout. As for LA and Roman Reigns, MITB will be only the second-ever one-on-one match between the two, following Roman retaining the WWE Championship and WWE Universal Championship against Knight at Crown Jewel 2023.
