WWE Backlash 2026: 10 Things That NEED To Happen

6. Bronson Reed Helps Bron Breakker

Conversely, Seth Rollins vs. Bron Breakker is a rivalry that has plenty of scope beyond the weekend. This is a big time grudge effort between former stablemates in The Vision, and one solitary PLE match doesn't seem plausible for the pair. They've got a huge gimmick/stipulation showdown awaiting them after this straight up singles showing.

Bron's return from injury was every bit as welcome to Trips as Seth's, but somebody else crucial to The Vision's story has been posted missing since before Elimination Chamber: Bronson Reed. If he's managed to heal up from a nasty bicep tear in time, then seeing him march out to help Breakker defeat Rollins at Backlash would be sweet.

That'd give Seth an out and necessitate a further match between he and Bron. Plus, before getting to that, he'd turn his frosty gaze onto Reed and beg Adam Pearce to let him kick lumps out of the powerhouse at Saturday Night's Main Event on 23 May; again, only if Bronson is physically able to work matches early on.

It's possible that he'll only be fit enough to work a run-in spot and then spend more time healing up as others like Bron or Paul Heyman cut promos on Raw. It just makes perfect sense to have Reed there at the weekend if he can be, because then the narrative has somewhere to go and Breakker gets a big win without it being conclusive.

Ultimately, this writer doesn't think Seth needs to win the feud anyway, but it'd be smart to keep the thing chugging along into deep summer.
