Major Update On AJ Lee's WWE Schedule (WWE News)
Disappointing update for any WWE fans who'd hoped to see AJ Lee every week.

Anyone hoping to see AJ Lee on WWE television every week following her return a few months ago is likely disappointed, but Fightful's Sean Ross Sapp has provided an update on that during a video recapping events from Monday's episode of Raw. It won't make pleasant reading for AJ super fans who fancied seeing her do her thing full time.
According to Sapp, Lee "will come and go". He also pointed out that there "hasn't been anything resembling a full time return as of yet". Indeed, it seems more plausible that AJ will dip in and out of programming as and when it suits to build towards select PLE matches.
Case in point: Hype for the mixed tag-team match at Wrestlepalooza and then again for her involvement in the women's WarGames match at Survivor Series this past weekend. Then, just as soon as she re-arrived back on the scene, Lee will vanish until her next 'in emergency break glass' moment comes around.
There won't be any weekly in-ring bangers for AJ on episodes of Raw, SmackDown or NXT, put it that way; at least not consistently. In fact, Lee is yet to lace up her boots for a match on any of the weeklies, but has been involved in promo skits and run-in brawls on both Raw and SmackDown since coming back.
Opinion: AJ Was Probably Never Going To Be A Full-Timer

Realistically, as Sapp pointed out in Fightful's video, this was always going to be the case when AJ put pen to paper on a brand spanking new WWE deal in September. Triple H was very proud when capturing footage of the moment Lee signed her name on the dotted line, but he surely knew then that she'd be more of a special attraction than anything else.
AJ wasn't going to go from that to putting in 20 minutes against all comers on Raw.
Interestingly, Becky Lynch has kept things purring post-WarGames. She's spotlighted that it was a verbal submission at Survivor Series, not a tap out. Thus, Lynch believes there's unfinished business with Lee. That'll be something to keep an eye on as WWE heads into the final month of 2025 and then straight into the traditionally exciting Royal Rumble-WrestleMania season early next year.
It'd be a huge surprise if AJ vs. Becks in a straight up singles wasn't booked at least once. WWE and Hunter know they have that in reserve, but it's about finding the right time to make it happen.
