Background: Batista wants to score back-to-back victories in the Royal Rumble, but is stunned when the man he eliminated to win the event in 2014 - Roman Reigns - eliminates him in 2015. Batista is so angry that re-enters the ring and tosses Reigns out, costing him a shot at WrestleMania XXXI's main event. Reigns gets some vengeance at Elimination Chamber when he pins Batista to remove him from the six-way title contest, but "The Animal" continues to make the former Shield member's life a living hell en route to their clash at WrestleMania. The Match: Two of WWE's most explosive power-based wrestlers, Reigns and Batista hold nothing back. The younger, hungrier Reigns takes the advantage in the early goings of the match, but he makes a rookie attempt in going for the spear too early, allowing the wily Batista to dodge. Reigns crashes into the ring post, injuring himself and putting the former WWE Champion in control. Batista goes to work on Reigns, slamming him around the ring and taunting him all the while. Reigns makes a comeback, though, backdropping "The Animal" on a Batista Bomb attempt. Big Dave tries to fight back with a Spear of his own, but Reigns kicks out nails the Superman punch, then hits the best Spear in the business for the win. Winner: Roman Reigns in 13:32
