Royal Rumble could be the night WWE changes EVERYTHING going into WrestleMania.

You know the drill with this sort of thing by now.

Positivity takes a temporary back seat, and it watches in horror as negative WWE thoughts take the wheel whilst driving haphazardly right off the side of the gigantic WrestleMania stage. That's precisely what the upcoming Royal Rumble could do - it could ruin everyone's night(s) come 'Mania. Eek!

OK, so not every nightmare pondered here can happen simultaneously. That's fine though, because this is all fantasy. It's horror-soaked, 'THIS IS THE WORST THAT COULD OCCUR' fantasy, but fantasy nonetheless. It's the kind of stuff that'd make Triple H and his merry band of superstars wake up in a cold sweat on Friday night before Saturday's supershow.

Put succinctly, what if WWE changes everything? To explain, what if the World Title scene is about to turn upside down before April's huge weekender, and what if someone makes an unwanted comeback to try and play the tough guy like he always does?! Perish the thought!

Actually, no. Don't perish the thought. Let it sneak up on you like some bad guy in a movie. Have erm...fun!

10. Sami Zayn Screws Over KO For No Reason

What a way to start.

You've got to feel just a wee bit sorry for Sami Zayn. He's gone from WrestleMania 39 headliner to possibly sitting outside with his nose pressed up against the window come this year's weekender. Unless, of course, Triple H is about to open the door for Sami by having him turn on Kevin Owens without any warning whatsoever.

Will this happen? Nah, probably not, but it could and that's the magic at play here. At first, it'd look like Zayn was rushing out to save his old tag-team partner from a two-on-one kicking at the hands of Logan and Jake Paul. Then, completely out of nowhere, he'd blast KO with a Helluva Kick/Blue Thunder Bomb and let LP retain his United States Title.

"Why, Sami? Why?!" phrasing would hog social media afterwards, then fans would have to wait until Monday's Raw for Sami's explanation. His justification? An f'n match at 'Mania with his on/off best friend, that's what.
