Former WWE Champion and now-retired star Ettore 'Big E' Ewen will release a book chronicling his life and career on 2 February, 2027. It's called: 'How I Got Over', and mixes stories about his epic in-ring career with real-life struggles as he fought a "private, unseen mental health battle that shadowed his success".

Incredibly, E wasn't sure he'd even make it to age 25 when he was just 20. His depression had a real grip on him, and it took everything to fight back against that and become the wrestling star millions came to know and love. Then, unfortunately, an errant spot during a seemingly routine match on SmackDown in 2022 changed the course of his life all over again.

Ewen has since officially retired from the ring, but he can still be seen as a panelist on WWE PLEs today. He's also been very forthcoming about his life and career, and is regarded as one of the most inspiring human beings in the industry.

Soon, fans will be able to share his story. It's going to be "unfiltered", so brace yourselves for a ton of honesty, reflection, triumph, heartache, pain, happiness and more. This could well be a must-read account from somebody who tasted all of the rollercoaster highs and lows of WWE life.

On the cover, a subheading reads: "Healing from depression and psychosis to find joy in and out of the ring". It's remarkable that Big E has been so positive considering how his active wrestling career ended. Come February, he'll tell all.
