WWE SummerSlam 2026: 10 Nightmares That Could Come True

6. Danhausen Gets Booed

Good lord.

It sucks to say, but that segment involving Danhausen, Joe Hendry and boxer Ryan Garcia on Monday's edition of Raw was tantamount to torture - both for fans tuning in at home and likely for Hendry and Danhausen as they watched fans ignore their coaxing to sing along or wave their hands in the air like they just didn't care.

Unfortunately, the "just didn't care" bit is the most accurate summary of what happened. California roundly ignored the sing along, so the only way is up for Mr. Hausen and his 'Human Monies On A Pole' match vs. Dominik Mysterio. Wait, what?! This is what WWE has in mind for both guys on a PLE as grand as SummerSlam?

What a SummerScam. OK, all jokes aside (and that was a terrible one), this could go badly wrong. Dominik has been struggling harder than at any point since making his debut as a bright eyed and bushy tailed kid in 2020, and Danhausen faces the uncertainty of a 'will they/won't they' crowd reaction this weekend.

It's possible that the quirky gimmick he plays has been overexposed. Being fair, the creative team only responded to strong merchandise sales and overall fan enjoyment since his disastrous debut, but Danhausen probably isn't the sort of character who should be in a featured spot every single week.

Also, 'Human Monies On A Pole' is a little too latter day WCW and Vince Russo think tank for most. This will either be utter genius or the worst SummerSlam match since Ronda Rousey and Shayna Baszler went 'MMA Rules'.
