WWE WrestleMania 42: 20 Things That NEED To Happen

20. Saturday’s Opener Is All-Action

All-action/rapid/on the shorter side. Whichever way you slice it, The Usos and LA Knight vs. Logan Paul, Austin Theory and IShowSpeed is a curious pick to kick off the entire weekend in-ring. That had 'Saturday night's death spot fare' written all over it, but WWE fancy heaping the pressure on Speed early doors.

Fair enough. Let's see if he's as talented between the ropes as fellow YouTuber Paul!

Ideally, this match will only get around 10-15 minutes bell to bell. It'd also be cool if the thing was just stacked full of high spots involving IShowSpeed and Logan, or Paul and Knight. Meanwhile, Jimmy and Jey will be relied upon to make sure the whole shindig runs as smoothly as possible, but it doesn’t need to be super long.

An in and out WrestleMania debut for Speed would be for the best. Maybe Danhausen can make another cameo appearance to curse him and help the babyface squad to a crowd-popping win too. That'd be the logical play for this match, and it isn't like anyone's taking everything super serious heading into 'Mania anyway.

That's why it's so surprising that WWE picked the 6-man to open Saturday. It's a let-me-up match more than anything, but Triple H clearly has higher hopes for The Vision meeting The Bloodline (sort of) than that. Yep, let it run for anywhere between 10-15, then put Knight over so people stop (rightly) bitching and moaning about his status on the roster.

A viral moment involving Speed and LP sounds plausible as well.
