4. Women’s War Of Words Continues

The Women’s World Championship feud between Stephanie Vaquer and Liv Morgan has stayed true to its roots, contrasting the two women and their paths to this point, and that continued Monday night when La Primera verbally assaulted her challenger.

In a pre-taped promo, Vaquer conceded that Liv’s laugh bothered her, but what pissed her off was that Morgan had the tools to be great after being trained by the best in the best facilities, but she didn’t use them, instead hiding behind Dominik Mysterio. She was lazy, only seeing herself as a cheap blonde rather than as a talented, capable opponent.

Vaquer talked about her upbringing and journey to WWE, and how that strengthened her. She was forged in Hell, forged in fire, while Liv was forged by other people’s experience.

Playing Liv up as a spoiled, privileged brat who was gifted every advantage while Stephanie had to scratch and claw to get to this point in her career is a solid angle for the feud, because it rings true. It raises the question of whether Morgan could have survived what Vaquer endured, and also leads one to wonder how good La Primera would be if she had those same advantages.
