If you've ever wondered what the world would look like with the Joker in charge, 2000's Superman: Emperor Joker is a must-read. The book shows the DC Universe turned upside-down in the Clown King of Crime's personal view thanks to his acquisition of a portion of Mr. Mxyzptlk's powers.

That essentially made the Joker a god, which is how he was able to kill Batman everyday, only to resurrect him shortly after his slaughter. He also turned Superman into a wanted criminal and perverted just about everything good and wholesome in the DC Universe.

To make things worse, he reimagined the Justice League into the Joker League of Anarchy, which consisted entirely of criminals instead of superheroes... naturally. The team was led by Poison Ivy who commanded Ignition, Gilly, the Hellish Scorch, Skizm, and the gunfighter Bounty.

In this world, their mandate was all about spreading chaos across the globe. In effect, they enforced the law of the land, but the Joker's law was the opposite of justice so things didn't exactly go well for anyone they came across.
