10 Things You Didn't Know About Ant-Man

3. His First Comic Is Worth Up To $200,000

The Hank Pym version of Ant-Man first appeared in 1962's Tales to Astonish #27. Rather remarkably, the raw value of a mint condition copy of this comic is $100,000 and, even more spectacularly, a graded mint condition copy of the comic can sell for up to $200,000. Even a copy with a condition considered merely "fine" can sell for more than $3000 and a poor condition specimen can sell for $200. These comics - given the fact that Ant-Man is a major character and given the age of the comic in question - have held value for quite some time now but, since the announcement of an Ant-Man movie, their values have gone through the roof. If you have one, you could be very rich very quickly.
