Black Widow Movie: 10 Things It Must Include
So... what DID happen in Budapest?
That's right folks, it's finally happening: Black Widow is finally getting their own film, almost eight years on from those initial calls from fans for one to happen.
It's been a long wait, and an unnecessarily long one at that, but the Black Widow solo film everyone's been waiting for moved a step closer to production last week with the announcement that Jac Schaeffer - of Blacklist fame - is writing the script. Nothing is known about the film other than the fact that Scarlett Johansson will reprise her role as the title character; it could be a sequel, prequel, or even something else entirely.
Irrespective of whatever path Marvel choose to take with the film, there are a few things that it needs to include. Of all the characters in the MCU Nat's past is the one most shrouded in mystery, and while Marvel have divulged the occasional detail here and there, it's clear that she's in major need of some exploration. Add to that the fact that Scar Jo's been fantastic in the role, and you have as strong a case as any for a solo outing in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, one that's remained the same for the last eight years.
With a chequered past and an undetermined future, Natasha Romanoff looks set to command the most exciting Marvel movie in years. But what should the studio look to include?
