So Night of the Owls continues and this time its little Damien Wayne€™s turn to play with the Owls. The target this time is Major General Benjamin Borrws and while on a routine training exercise, the Major is attacked giving Robin a chance to shine as a squad leader and a little bat-badass that isn€™t going to hold back on an Owl like the rest of the Bat-family might. This was actually quite a strong issue for little Damien. He€™s not a character that€™s totally clicked with me so far if I€™m honest and he€™s one that I won€™t like for a while, then something will get me and then this new Robin will lose me again. The last few issues of Batman and Robin have been very strong for the new Boy Wonder and I€™ve liked him a whole lot more, so to see him in this solo outing gave the kid a chance to shine. I€™m not a fan of the jet pack and his over confidence in this situation initially bugged me but there€™s no denying this little Robin held this issue together well. Really this whole issue is like watching a Terminator movie. The unstoppable killer hot on the trail of a pair that shouldn't be able to stop him really but given the fact Robin is a nasty little guy wins the day. How Damien protects the Owl€™s target is pretty god damn brutal and certainly highlights what sets Batman€™s new sidekick apart from the much loved characters that preceded him in the green tights. Once again this is a simple €œsave the target€ entry in the Night of the Owls but this is probably the strongest one of the Bat-family titles yet and offered up a lot of action, a lot of fighting and a killer wrap up.
