3. Are Ed's Blackouts Officially A Thing Of The Past?

Since the final season of Gotham commenced earlier this month, Edward Nygma has been suffering from a series of blackouts. At first, the character - and the viewers, for that matter - thought that his other, more friendly personality had come back to haunt him by taking control of his lean physique while the darker, more evil Ed slept. However, this doesn't seem to be the case, after all.

After receiving several blows to the head from an old lady, Ed's memories came flooding back to him, and he became aware that he himself was responsible for the explosion at Haven, which killed hundreds of innocent souls.

The character seemed to embrace his somewhat maniacal tendencies even more upon learning this information, which suggests that The Riddler has been well and truly born. However, it does beg the question if this is the end of the blackouts? Regardless of the answer, we still want to know who was responsible for them in the first place.

The likely candidate is Dr Hugo Strange, but knowing Gotham there will be a twist before we learn of the culprit.
