Miles Morales Gets His FIRST Symbiote

Ah, to be young and full of alien parasites.

Proving that the Absolute Carnage spin-offs are just as important as the main series, Absolute Carnage: Miles Morales sees the titular hero join the ranks of the heroes imbued with the Carnage symbiote, as the issue ends with Miles being overwhelmed by Cassidy and his henchmen, and 'welcomed into the fold' of those infected with the parasite.

The effect this will have on the rest of the series as a whole is huge, as either Spider-Man and Venom will be forced to confront a Carnage-infused and monstrous Miles, or we may see Morales manage to control this form, and use his newfound powers to give Carnage the beatdown he so dearly deserves.

Either way, the decision to have Miles be infected by the Carnage symbiote is one that should prove endlessly fascinating regardless of which side of the Venom/Carnage fight it leaves him on. The Kid Arachnid can often be overlooked in major Spider-Man events, so this marks a change that is both pleasant and absolutely huge, as exactly how Morales will be able to get rid of the Symbiote could potentially be its own series, if handled right.

With the Absolute Carnage event still in its first phases, the possibilities for this storyline are practically endless - which is sure to prove all the more exciting for Spider-Man fans who've waited for the series with bated breath.
