New York Comic Con 2017: 10 Major Anouncements That Must Happen

10. The Creative Team Behind Gambit And Rogue

Announced just last this week, an as of yet unknown creative team will be taking to a Gambit and Rogue comic this January, with information regarding the project (and a Legion spin-off comic) being withheld until NYCC begins this weekend.

It very much feels as though the X-Men are on the up, now that Wolverine's returned and the whole business regarding the Inhumans is over and done with - certainly in the comics at least. Gambit and Rogue are the biggest power couple of the group (Scott and Jean aside), and to see them side by side again is brilliant to see.

Rogue seems to playing a key role in Legacy going forward, boasting a leading part in the newly announced Avengers: No Surrender (more on that in a second), as well as a plethora of X-titles going forward, so it could be the case that there's more to this team-up than meets the eye.

In any case, we should have a clearer picture of what's in store once the creative team gets announced, which should (hopefully!) happen at tonight's Next Big Thing panel.
