SDCC: HARRY POTTER fan stabbed in the eye for refusing to get out of his seat

A comic book fan wearing a Harry Potter shirt was stabbed in his eye socket with a pen for refusing to leave his seat on Saturday night, inside Comic Con's Hall H. Both men were in their mid 20's. They were squabbling over a seat right in the center, just before Universal were to present panels on Cowboys& Aliens and Paul. Presumably the victim decided to stay in his seat for the next panel (common practice at Hall H, unlike say at Cannes when you have to leave the theatre, to start queuing again even though the next film is inside the same venue) and the new guy, after queuing for hours outside in the heat, wasn't happy. Medics came, he had to be stretched to an ambulance, blood was everywhere. The assailant was cuffed away and hopefully banned from all conventions for life.
