Sci-fi is a perennial film-favourite but recent hits like Moon, Guardians of the Galaxy and Ex Machina hinted that we might be entering a golden period of fresh and original sci-fi and fantasy film-making. With homegrown mini-epic Pandorica soon hit screens, we look at 10 futuristic movies coming to screens in 2016... Directed by Tom Paton Pandorica is an original sci-fi adventure set for release at cinemas and on digital from April 1st. Following a devastating event the world has changed forcing people to return to a simpler way of life. The story follows Eiren, Ares and Thade, all in line to lead the next generation of the Varosha Tribe, as they embark on a journey away fromthe safety of their home towards a remote forest and current leader Nus.
