Worried that your date for the weekend may want to see the artificial insemination rom-com The Switch (jeez) or the excruciatingly awful Going The Distance – both on U.K. release this week – and you’ll go along with it, just for the promise that you might get laid come home time?
Well I’m here to tell you, seeing a badly made rom-com with actors that have no chemistry with each other is strictly not good for your sex life. Seriously. It’s an old adage that the best way to get laid from seeing a movie is to take your date to a scary flick, to terrify them, leaving them clawing into your arms in pure terror at the nightmare projections that are messing with their heads.
And well, horror movies get girls horny. It’s just the way it is. And Obsessed With Film is here to help you get laid this weekend!
Friday see’s the release of Cherry Tree Lane – the story of a helpless couple whose home is invaded by unfriendly strangers that marks the third movie from talented Brit director Paul Andrew Williams. We found the movie to be an expertly made and disturbing experience when we saw it in Edinburgh, and apologies if we found it more effective than The Last Exorcism – the lame duck horror of the weekend.
How would you like to enjoy Cherry Tree Lane at an exclusive screening this Friday 3rd September at 6:40 for a 7:15 start in London, followed by an exclusive Q & A with the director?
We have one pair (i.e. two tickets to one winner) of the event to give away, and you’ve got 24 hours or so to enter.
All you need to do is send an email to firstname.lastname@example.org, with the subject header: “Cherry”, with confirmation that you are over 18 and that’s it! We will be choosing a winner sometime Thursday, so get your entries in now!
Winners will be informed at around 5pm tomorrow night on Obsessed With Film and will be notified at the same time via email. Don’t say we don’t ever do things for you!
