Opening in the U.K. this Friday is
Ironclad, a medieval actioner set during the signing of King John's Magna Carta and the bloody siege of Rochester Castle. Think basically the opening of Ridley Scott's Robin Hood but on a much grander scale. Our heroes are a band of ragtag group of warriors, led by
James Purefoy, with a stellar supporting cast including
Brian Cox, Derek Jacobi, Paul Gimatti, Mackenzie Crook, Jason Flemying, and
Kate Mara. We spoke to lead James Purefoy last week in preparation of the film's release (which we will talk about soon) and he was kind enough to sign a copy of the film's poster for us to give away on the site.
