Homefront: The Revolution is due to be launched across all platforms later this year, and we have a fantastic opportunity for 10 lucky readers to get a first try by winning codes to a closed beta test on Xbox One. The beta test will allow players to have access to Homefront: The Revolution's new Resistance Mode. This mode sees teams of 4 players team up online to complete a variety of different story driven missions across different landscapes. The emphasis of this mode is for each player to demonstrate the ability to work together, and missions will only be winnable through the joint cooperation between all people involved. While the gameplay, graphics, frame rates, and features found within the closed test will not represent that of the finished game, it does provide a brilliant glimpse of what fans can expect come May. The developers have also stated their intention for the full version of the game to have an ever developing characteristic for the Resistance Mode. This means that they will continually listen to feedback from players to update and refine the gameplay. In conjunction with this philosophy of inclusiveness and fluidity, they have also declared that all updates and maps for this mode will be free to download. This means that no player will be left behind or at a disadvantage to any one else. Test run times are as follow: Start: Thursday, 11 AM PST (2 PM EST, 7 PM GMT, 8 PM CET) End: Sunday, midnight PST (Monday 3 AM EST, 8 AM GMT, 9 AM CET) The deadline for all entries will be 06:00 on 11th February, and winners will be notified soon after.
