“Balalalala.”

Once again, Disney proved why they are the indisputable champions of high-concept animation. Sticking with their tried and tested approach to tight narrative design, they churned out another Oscar-worthy crowd-pleaser in the form of Big Hero 6.

Where Age of Ultron gave us a Supervillain AI, Disney’s Big Hero 6 flung the most adorable Superhero AI imaginable onto our screens in the form of Baymax (Scott Adsit), and we couldn’t be happier. The large inflatable healthcare robot won the hearts of audiences everywhere, and it’s hard to imagine the film being as successful without Baymax’s cuddly presence. We dare you to retain your tears after watching Baymax sacrifice himself to save the hero. Go on… We dare you.

Here’s a fun little fact: apparently Baymax’s movement is based on penguins - and who doesn’t love penguins?
