4. Look Who's Talking Now (1993)

Look Who€™s Talking was a relatively enjoyable comedy from the €™80s in which Kirstie Alley has a child and raises it with John Travolta. Bruce Willis provides the voice of their child€™s inner-monologue. The film was successful enough to spawn a sequel in 1990, appropriately titled Look Who's Talking Too. This time we got introduced to a baby sister, voiced by Roseanne Barr. The film wasn€™t great, but it still had its charm. Then in 1993 we got the last of the trilogy, titled Look Who's Talking Now. The film doesn't feature Bruce Willis or Roseanne, instead Danny DeVito and Diane Keaton provide voice-over roles for the couple's newly acquired dogs, Rocks and Daphne Yes, this time the film focuses on the life of the family pets. While the first film had maybe a slice of realism to season its romantic comedy. This one looks like it was thrown into an automatic screenwriting machine; by-the-numbers all of the way. Also, the film is meant for children but there are several ongoing references to open sexuality, including a reprise of opening credits that run over a microscopic view of squirming sperm. You know, a family picture. On the other hand, what do you expect? Yeah, the story is formulaic and predictable but it€™s actually not a bad little family film for the holidays. An adequate amount of fun if you are in the mood for light comedy. Just enjoy it and don't worry about comparing it to the other films.
