6. Jeff Goldblum Is Playing Grandmaster
What a genius casting choice: bringing the lord of the cinema geeks into the MCU ranks alongside convincing Michael Keaton to play a Spider-Man villain as the most exciting recent Marvel developments.
He's set to play the Grandmaster - who isn't so much a villain as an intriguing wildcard who likes to play games with lesser creatures. Since he's one of the oldest living beings in the galaxy, that basically means everyone.
Like Q from Star Trek, the Grandmaster makes his sport with strategy games and pitting his pawns against one another. So there are two big possibilities here: either he's behind Ragnarok entirely (which would be a bit of a cop out since Loki is definitely malevolent enough to want war himself), or he's going to be the key to why Hulk is involved in the story. After all, the characters have history in the comics.
Alternatively, he might be the key to whatever part Thanos is playing in Ragnarok, since he used to own the stone that's currently in the middle of Vision's forehead...
