When creating the nine epic flicks found within the Skywalker Saga, along with the additional animated and live-action spin-offs, the folks behind these Star Wars movies haven't always found a way to squeeze in absolutely every scene they've thrown in front of a camera.

Whether they just didn't seem necessary in the wake of capturing the footage and cutting the film together, or took the story in a direction the people calling the shots didn't feel was right for the overall story, a ton of exchanges and moments of action have found themselves joining the Star Wars deleted scenes collection over the years.

While many of these chopped out sequences admittedly added very little to the tale being told, though, there are actually a number of riveting scenes - as seen in the first version of this list - that could have completely altered this galaxy far, far away, or even just the way you look at it, had they been left in the finished product.

If these unused moments had been preserved in their respective Star Wars movies, then much-loved Jedi Masters may not have survived Order 66, fans could have found it tough to forgive certain villains-turned-heroes, and the boldest ending in the franchise's history would have possibly been lost forever.

Put simply, these scenes would have changed everything.

10. Bail Organa's First Appearance - Star Wars: Episode I - The Phantom Menace

One of the most underrated performances found in the prequel trilogy came from the terrific Jimmy Smits, with the veteran actor bringing the brave and warm adoptive father of Leia Organa to life superbly during Episodes II-III.

Smits would also build on that excellent work as Bail Organa in the likes of Rogue One: A Star Wars Story and the Obi-Wan Kenobi TV series.

However, had George Lucas opted to stick to his original plan for one little deleted moment in Episode I: The Phantom Menace, maybe fans would be living in a world where Smits was never passed the Organa ball.

Actor Adrian Dunbar was initially cast in the role of Bail Organa for that first prequel, with the character stating that Alderaan seconded the motion put forward by Padme Amidala for a Vote of No Confidence in Chancellor Valorum in an unused moment.

Not only did that scene not make the cut, though, Dunbar's role was also altered to that of Bail Antilles of Alderaan - one of the other figures nominated to succeed Vallorum as Supreme Chancellor.

Dunbar would later note (via The Irish Times) how Lucas had told him his character would be involved in the next two flicks. But that ultimately never happened, and instead this original Organa was eventually replaced by the Smits.
