Following months and months of anticipation, the first full trailer for the upcoming Marvel comic book movie, Guardians of the Galaxy, finally hit the web in the early hours of this morning (or late last night if you're American). After the first footage from the movie was screened at Comic Con last July, a low-resolution bootleg was leaked online hours later, and though much of the footage featured here is the same, it's nice to see it in crystal clear 1080 HD, along with all the other clips that we didn't catch before. For me, this is easily the most interesting blockbuster of the summer, and a movie I am rooting for to succeed. That said, all this trailer really did was reinforce my thinking that movie probably won't be the hit Marvel is crossing its fingers for. Though everything they touch these days seems to turn to gold, I'm not quite convinced that they'll succeed with what is easily their most audacious and bravest risk to date.
