Nic Cage's Ben Gates has everything we have come to expect from a screen hero: An important mission, noble intentions, insurmountable odds to overcome, bad guys to beat down, a hot girl, great hair (maybe not) and even a cool name. There is just one thing wrong with this picture...Ben Gates is a historian. Have you ever seen Time Team?
