10 Shocking (But Believable) Theories About Suicide Squad

1. The Squad Are Actually Sent After Batman

Now, here's a genuinely crazy theory that - in all likelihood - is nothing but a crazy theory. That said, given the narrative potential inherent to such an idea, it's not totally unbelievable to imagine a Suicide Squad movie in which the titular bunch are sent after Batman himself. Okay, so, there are lots of holes and it questionable aspects, but that's not to say that it's impossible. After all, what better target to send a group of wronged Batman villains after than Batman himself? Pretty much every character in the film has beef with The Dark Knight (he locked them up!), so there's logic in the notion that they'd agree to go after him. Not to forget that Amanda Waller, the enigmatic character who comes up with the idea for the Suicide Squad, has an on/off relationship with Batman in the comics. He could very well be the single person who stands in her way with regards to the formation of the group - could it be her intention to see him done away with in this initial Suicide Squad flick? We already know Ben Affleck is set to appear in the movie, of course, albeit in a kind of flashback variety. But what if all that flashback stuff is a ploy on the part of the filmmakers? What if, all along, Suicide Squad has been a movie about killing Bruce Wayne? It might sound totally insane, but a Batman flick from the enemy's perspective would be awesome. Like this article?
