10 Things Marvel Wants You To Forget About The MCU

Where's a deneuralyzer when you need one?

Don't let the title fool you. This is not another article intent on bashing the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Those articles have been swarming the internet for months and let's be perfectly honest, they're all wrong. The MCU is perfectly fine. It has not peaked, and it is certainly not on the decline. As a matter of fact, despite what some cynics would have you believe, it is stronger now than ever. Just take a look at Captain America: The Winter Soldier and Guardians Of The Galaxy, the two most recent films of the series and two of the best in the MCU so far. And from here things will only get better. New characters will be introduced (including Ant-Man, Black Panther, Captain Marvel, and Dr. Strange), old characters will be killed off (looking at you, Cap), Ultron will lay waste to most of the planet, and eventually Thanos will show up and declare war on the whole damn universe. The MCU itself is like one long movie. We haven't even reached the end of act 2, and act 3 is certain to amaze. All that being said, the MCU is not perfect. Oh it's damn close, and seems to be getting closer to perfection with each new film, but it's not quite there yet. There have been a few moments that Marvel no doubt wishes it could take back. Moments that had audiences scratching heads, rolling eyes, or clenching fists. Here are ten things that Marvel definitely wants us to forget.

Yes, my last name is pronounced exactly as it's spelled. Just like "going to the store". ;) I am an aspiring writer currently working on my first novel, which is GOING to be awesome once it's published. (See what I did there?) I love reading, am a HUGE film buff (who welcomes all trivia challenges), and never miss a New York Giants football game. I'm an open book so if there is anything else you'd like to know about me, just ask.
