10 Villains That Affleck’s Batman Should Fight Instead Of The Joker

10. James Gordon, Jr.

Batman deals with a lot of serial killers but perhaps none more disturbing than James Gordon, Jr. That€™s right, Commissioner Gordon€™s son is a complete sociopath. What makes him so disturbing is that he doesn€™t sport some colourful gimmick or goofy costume, he€™s just a very messed-up young man. Using Gordon would allow the film to tap in the craziness that Joker brings to the table, but approach it in a more real way. If Affleck is indeed behind the camera, this sort of believable, realistic criminal may appeal to his sensibilities. Knowing that Commissioner Gordon will be a key player in the new series at the very least allows for this possibility. Despite the normalcy he projects in public, Gordon, Jr. still boasts many traits that make him recognizable as a comic book villain. Although he maintains an intimate desire to hurt his family, particularly his sister, Barbara, he always looks at the bigger picture. One of his most notable exploits was trying to poison baby food at a factory, ensuring a new generation of killers just like him. He might be too dark for some, but he could give audiences the best of the Joker without actually using the Joker.
