10 Weirdest Cameos In MCU Movies

The MCU is full of cameos, but have you spotted all of these hidden gems?

The Marvel Cinematic Universe has become the biggest movie franchise of all time, bringing our favourite comic book characters from the House of Ideas to the big screen. Boasting large and stunning CGI battles and spreading across all of Marvel lore, it is no wonder this franchise has grown as much as it has.

Over the past twelve years of movies, some of the biggest actors and actresses have taken to their superheroes such as Robert Downey Jr., Scarlett Johansson and Chris Evans. But not all the celebrity appearances have been so obvious.

The Marvel movies have squirrelled away some big stars right under our noses. Of all the films that have come before, none have brought together quite so many cameos, to the point where fans spend hours scrolling through the latest release to catch every appearance, no matter how small.

It is no wonder in such a huge movie franchise that celebrities want to get in on the action, in any way available. Their cameos can be so minor or so off-cuff that fans never see them coming, but love them all the same.

10. Elon Musk - Iron Man 2

Tony Stark wasn’t the only tech billionaire to appear in Iron Man 2. Elon Musk, the founder and CEO of Tesla and SpaceX, made an appearance as himself, greeting Tony and Pepper at the Monaco F1 race.

Musk is quickly dismissed by Tony in a clever and subtle way at showing just how rich Stark is. With Robert Downey Jr having modelled aspects of his performance on Musk, the CEO's appearance in Iron Man 2 worked as a fitting inclusion.
