The Actor: Quite simply one of the best actors of his generation. His big break came as Llewyn Davis, the man the Coen Brothers got Inside back in 2013, which somehow didn't land him an Oscar nomination. The past year has included roles in A Most Violent Year, Ex Machina, and HBO's Show Me A Hero. Role In Star Wars: Isaac will be playing Resistance fighter Poe Dameron, the self-proclaimed "best frickin' pilot in the galaxy." Trailers have already shown him both flying an X-Wing and being tortured by Kylo Ren, and really there is nowhere near enough hype for his character, who is one of the three new heroes signed up for the new trilogy. Look out for him (alongside BB-8, obvs) to steal this movie. Role In Marvel: Another blockbusting role beckons next year, although you wouldn't know it was Isaac by looking at the photos. The actor will be under layers of purple prosthetics to play the titular villain and ancient mutant in X-Men: Apocalypse.
