13 Things You Didn't Know About Shailene Woodley

6. She Donated Her Cut Hair From The Fault In Our Stars

The actress naturally had to cut her hair to play cancer patient Hazel Grace Lancaster in The Fault in Our Stars, a look which she has retained ever since, keeping it that way for the upcoming movie Insurgent. However, wanting her art to make someone's life better, she collected up her chopped locks and donated them to an organisation called Children with Hair Less, who create wigs for children without hair for various reasons. She also encouraged her friends, family and loyal fans to join her in doing so. On the donation, the actress simply said, "When I finally realized I have to live life for myself and not for anyone else is when I started being more generous and kind and grateful. I was able to give back more...Doing the right thing always makes you feel good, and it€™s contagious."
