15 Best Things The Internet Has Done With Jurassic World

Clever URLs.

Did everybody know Jurassic World was going to be a big movie? Yes. Did we know how big? Not on your life. It's set a bunch of box-office records, but the ones that matter so far are "biggest opening weekend in history" and "fastest climb to $1 billion." (There's been loose talk that it might, at some point, set the record for "highest-grossing movie of all time.") Not bad for a franchise that hadn't been seen in ages, previously known for one really good movie, one largely unnecessary sequel and one unbelievable clunker of a threequel. Naturally, when something new (or even just sorta new) splashes down into the popular consciousness, it's only a matter of time before Web-based artists start building cool stuff around it. Some of them got an early start by working with the trailer and promotional material, but by now some cartoons, a photo-meme, and a prankster's video have riffed off the content of the movie. (So be warned: this article contains minor plot spoilers.) As usual, we've scoured every corner of the Internet to find the best of the best of today's Jurassic World Wide Web. No doubt some other strange and beautiful creatures will emerge in the coming months, so this list may see an update as time goes by.
