14. Joel McHale - Spider-Man 2

There are few actors working today who can play !*$% characters quite like Joel McHale. He's pretty much a champion at it and there's a reason he's the go-to guy for those sorts of roles.

Sam Raimi's casting team knew that way back in 2004 when they cast McHale for his first big screen role in Spider-Man 2 (he'd had a handful of TV appearances before that). He basically started as he meant to go on, playing a douchebag bank teller who Aunt May and Peter go to see to try and secure a loan so May can keep the family home.

You can guess how it goes, but at least the bank gets instant karma when Doc Ock turns up and smashes into the vault to steal money to fund his work. And he gets one last barb in as Peter runs off to change into his Spidey gear, calling him a "real hero" sarcastically.
