21 Greatest Batman Movie Easter Eggs

20. The Usual Suspect

In many ways, Christopher Nolan's career trajectory is something of a mirror with the rise of fellow comic book movie maker Bryan Singer: both burst onto the scene with dark, brilliantly written movies, and both were subsequently entrusted with leading huge comic book franchises. Perhaps Nolan is aware of the link, as in The Dark Knight, in Harvey Dent's office, there's a box file marked with the name Keyser Söze. But then of course the world's greatest law maker would go after the most notorious criminal.

19. The Joker Was His Own Son... Kind Of

In the Italian version of the original Batman, Jack Nicholson's Joker was dubbed by Giancarlo Giannini, and for the Joker's second appearance nineteen years later, possibly as a mark of respect, his son Adriano Giannini was chosen to dub Heath Ledger in The Dark Knight.
