Until the sad day comes when someone decides to remake Harry Potter with an entirely new cast, there will be a magical aura around the actors who brought JK Rowling's iconic characters to life. As such, following what they do post-Harry Potter is a legitimate hobby. Potter watching, if you will. Some of the cast obviously don't make it, on account of the fact that they're making terrible films. The chief offender is also the smallest. Not content with making a fool of himself at every opportunity on British TV (including some God-awful advertising deals), Verne Troyer (who played Griphook in Philosopher's Stone before he was later replaced by Warwick Davis for Deathly Hallows) is making the incredible sounding The 420 Movie: Mary & Jane. Don't expect to see that here. Other cast members and massive films just miss out by virtue of the calendar: David Thewlis has Wonder Woman coming in 2017, Emma Watson and Emma Thompson are both in Beauty 7 The Beast in 2017 and Domnhall Gleeson has Star Wars again too that year. But it's only 2016 we're interested in here, and only the best of the best may apply...
25. The Lost City Of Z - Robert Pattinson
After a career so far of making thrillers with a heavy focus on family, We Own The Night director James Gray is turning his hand to adapting the true life tale of British explorer Percy Fawcett who disappear in 1925 in the Amazon while searching for a Lost City. That infamously sparked a decades long hunt for the party and more evidence of the city, which resulted in up to 100 deaths. Former Hogwarts student Robert Pattinson might not have the top billing - that goes to Charlie Hunnam and on-screen son Tom Holland - but he's playing Henry Costin, a member of Fawcett's exploration party who presumably disappears along with his boss. It's certainly an intriguing story and one well worthy of the big screen treatment, especially with an exceptionally talented young cast.
