ooo.jpgEven though 300 lost half it’s audience in the second week of release, the movie still totally dominates the weekend box office, taking over $10 million more than it’s nearest rival Wild Hogs.

The movie has been released ten days now and has a total of $127.5 million and in the next few days it should surpass the big budget, big named cast 2004 flick Troy which made $133.4 million before leaving theatres.

The big new release of the weekend was the Sandra Bullock horror movie Premonition which got hammered by the critics but still took in $18 million, only $2 million short of the film’s whole budget. Bullock continues to be one of the few leading ladies in Hollywood who consistently delivers a return.

The other horror movie released this week was Dead Silence, from the creators of Saw. That movie took in a quiet $7.7 million, less than half of Saw’s opening weekend back in 2004.
