On August 20, 2013 we lost someone special, a true original and legend, “when Elmore Leonard – the man with immortal talent – passed away. A writer of the highest order, he was most well known for his terrific dialogue and compelling, colorful characters. In fact, you’d be hard pressed to find a single writer who wrote better dialogue than Elmore Leonard. His words were so delicious, you could taste them and it’s one of the main reasons so many of his works have already been adapted into films and television programs. Not all of the adaptations have been up to the standard of his stellar source material but when someone got it right, we were treated to truly special art.
