8 Awesome Instances of Actors Performing Work That's Beneath Them

Actors are funny. Not funny in that they make you laugh, but sometimes, specific actors can become so inflated and above the status quo that it can be seen they won't do certain projects that may be exploitative or beneath them. These are not those people. What follows is just a few examples of actors who, in some capacity, found their grounds in the business and came back to slightly mock it, saying to the world, "Hey, I might be a serious actor, but I understand the humor in what I do as a job." It's sometimes nice to know that the people making millions of dollars for human representation are able to step back and remember, "I'm not too good for anything."

8. John Stamos' Cuddlefest

You don't have to be a Full House enthusiast to enjoy the wonder that is John Stamos. He's suave, charming, gentle, and at the same time rugged enough to drive the ladies crazy. So, of course it makes sense that he would show everyone the proper way to cuddle. After all, he is the master. This breakdown of cuddling techniques not only makes you more and more attracted to the man, no matter your sexuality, but boosts your cuddling confidence. After all, if John Stamos can win the heart of Bob Saget, why can't you? Give John Stamos some props; he knows what he's known for and he's able to throw a few jabs at himself for the sake of your entertainment. He knows he'll probably never fully escape Full House-mania, and he's accepted it enough to snuggle on a bed with Bob Saget. Thank you, John Stamos, for your gifts to the world. http://youtu.be/Ocj_sGKFOIA

Cameron Carpenter is an aspiring screenwriter, current film and journalism student, and self-diagnosed cinephile, which only sounds bad in certain circles. Devoted fan of comics, movies, theater, Jesus Christ, Sidney Lumet, and Peter O'Toole, he sometimes spends too much time on his Scribd and comicbookmovie.com, but doesn't think you're one to judge, devoted reader. You can follow him on Twitter to watch him talk to people you didn't know exist. Oh, and Daredevil is quite the big deal around here (my head).
