Star Wars may have been the main event of Disney's live-action panel at this year's D23 Expo in Anaheim, but it was Marvel that kicked it off in style this past Saturday. The studio were conspicuous by their absence at this year's San Diego Comic-Con, but Kevin Feige brought more than enough to this Disney centric event to make up for that. Unfortunately, none of the footage or concept art shown was released online, and there are currently no plans for that to change. With hit after hit, Marvel clearly feel like they can take their time rolling out official material from these movies (which probably also explains why Spider-Man was nowhere to be seen in the footage shown. Marvel has to know that we're all chomping at the bit to see how he'll look in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, but kept the focus on the stars of the two 2016 movies which look set to shake up Phase 3 in a major way. Those are obviously Captain America in Civil War and Doctor Strange. While the former movie is going to dramatically alter the status quo of the MCU, the latter looks set to keep the Marvel movies feeling fresh by introducing a very different kind of hero, just like Ant-Man and Guardians Of The Galaxy did before it.
