9 Extremely Subtle Movie Cameos That Went Straight Over Your Head

8. David Beckham - The Man From U.N.C.L.E.

Arguably England’s most famous footballer and certified record holder for most unexpected voice from a six foot man, David Beckham’s fingers have wriggled their way into more pies than you’d think - from sport, to fashion, to games, and now right into sneaky film appearances.

Whilst he’s appeared in football related movies previously, such as the Goal! series, it’s his pal Guy Ritchie that called him in for a moment in the spotlight with his latest film - resulting in the pair joining forces again for that brilliant Beckham appearance in the latest King Arthur film. It’s everything you didn’t know you needed.

But first, Guy Ritchie’s The Man From U.N.C.L.E. served as Beckham’s first proper film cameo where he’s not playing himself, appearing instead as a Russian projectionist that delivers the mission to the other characters. Buried in prosthetics and a giant moustache, the sportsman looks a lot different to his usual GQ self - delivering only the one line of dialogue before the film plows on into its spy-riddled narrative.
