As Hollywood lets the dust settle from the enormous success that was Captain America: Civil War (which we'll discuss in due course), that hasn't stopped them doling out the exciting news and fanciful plot morsels. Indeed, a few new MCU tidbits eased their way out, while DC ensured to remind you that, yes, they're still fighting the good fight to compete with them.

In addition, we learned more info about upcoming rehashes and sequels of classic films and properties, which in honesty is kinda making us crave an original, big-budget movie from a beloved auteur in the summer blockbuster season.

Movies are crawling out of development hell, the futures of both the MCU and the DCEU have become a little bit clearer, and a dubious blockbuster gets a welcome dose of Oscar-winning class. Here are 9 movie spoilers we didn't know last week...

9. Jason Bourne Is Working With The CIA

It's been a staple of the Bourne franchise that Matt Damon's intrepid spy has been on the run from the CIA, but a newly-released featurette makes it clear that this time around, the CIA will be bringing Bourne into the fold to help deal with the "unprecedented instability" that the official synopsis only hints at.

That's right, in a novel twist, Bourne will be pulled out of what Damon has called a "dark place" by the CIA, and he will work with them to put things to rest...at least at first (we're guessing an inevitable Tommy Lee Jones bad guy turn is just waiting to unravel).

It has the potential to make a clever commentary on current world politics, especially as the film is said to be entangled with real-world, post-Snowden affairs, but should mostly ensure that this isn't just a greatest hits rehash of the three prior movies. And let's face it, there's no way Bourne is just going to become a government stooge.
