Avengers 4: 9 Surprise Cameos That Could Still Happen

6. The Ravagers

When the original incarnation of the Guardians of the Galaxy appeared during the ending sequence of Guardians 2, fans were likely surprised by the talent on display. Sylvester Stallone leads the team as Stakar, Michelle Yeoh appears as Aleta, Michael Rosenbaum plays Martinex and Ving Rhames, Miley Cyrus and a CGI mannequin round out the group as Martinex, Charlie 27, Mainframe and Krugarr.

Though superhero films have, as of late, proven to be remarkably exorbitant when it comes to cameos (Deadpool 2 a prime example), it's unlikely that this group were introduced as a throwaway reference. Stallone and Yeoh in particular could easily anchor a Ravagers spin-off, and with most of the Guardians having been snapped out of existence by Thanos, who better to lead the charge against the Mad Titan than the team's original incarnation?

Maybe 'lead' is a strong word, but don't count the Ravagers out of an appearance in the next Avengers. They're bound to feature in Guardians 3 (alongside Adam Warlock, who now won't be appearing in Avengers 4), and with all that spin-off potential evident across the team, having them cameo in the conclusion to the MCU's Infinity arc makes a whole lot of sense.
