If you're currently a little worried that there's no way that Marvel could possibly outdo what they've already achieved in the MCU to date, Robert Downey Jr has some inspirational, exciting news for you: you ain't seen nothing yet.
The actor has posted a new photo on his Instagram from the set of Avengers 4 stating that “the best is yet to come” with Avengers: Infinity War and Avengers 4. Let's hope it all lives up to his billing.
The hype for the Russos' Avengers double-header is already at white-hot levels, and while there's an element of self-serving marketing going on here, it's hard not to get just a little bit more excited. After all, these movies will mark not only the end of the first chapter of the MCU (and the retirement of some of the veterans), but will also usher in a brand new era in which the X-Men and the Fantastic Four come into play too.
If Infinity War and Avengers 4 do indeed end up being the best yet, whoever introduces those new characters (and whatever else we're going to see in "Phase 4") is going to have an almighty job on their hands. Expectations will only get even higher on the back of more success.
